Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. seeks an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support DoD/IC programs. You will protect classified information systems, ensure RMF compliance, and support the security posture across enterprise environments.

Ideal candidates have RMF familiarity, SRG/ CNSS knowledge, and a track record in security documentation and authorization packages. This exempt role includes robust holidays and PTO with a focus on mission-critical cyber defense.

Qualifications

• Must have active TS/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Cybersecurity/Information Assurance; four additional ISSO years may substitute for the degree.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I certification (or higher) is required.
• Strong RMF, NIST CNSS, and DoD cybersecurity requirements knowledge.
• Experience supporting system authorization, continuous monitoring, and cybersecurity compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ISSO for assigned information systems and support the ISSM in maintaining security posture.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/IC security requirements and RMF processes.
• Plan, coordinate, implement, and enforce information system security policies across projects.
• Maintain security posture via continuous monitoring, assessments, and risk management.
• Support audits, inspections, and authorization packages; coordinate with stakeholders.
