Job summary

Amentum is hiring an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support DoD SSP Program Offices. The ISSO will secure non-enterprise information systems for large-scale programs and travel regularly to SPHQ or Field Activities.

The role involves maintaining security posture, creating authorization packages, and coordinating with Program Office Technical Leads on security requirements. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of experience, and an active TS

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Active US Government TS clearance (TS/SCI) required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems are accredited with required security procedures.
• Maintain cybersecurity posture and document security controls.
• Implement RMF-based security controls and prepare authorization packages.
• Collaborate with System Administrators on security configurations and patches.
• Develop System Security Plans and lifecycle plans with SSP programs.
• Coordinate with SSP stakeholders on proposals and technical content.
• Provide customer interactions with Program Offices and contractors.
