Job summary

Astrion seeks a Senior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) at Hanscom AFB, MA to lead RMF-based security for weapon systems and PIT programs. The role requires US citizenship, an active TS/SCI clearance, and extensive DoD cyber security experience.

You will guide A&A activities, develop security architectures, and coordinate with program management to meet DoD/Cybersecurity requirements. Candidates should have DoD 8570 MMGT512 compliant certifications and a strong background in RMF

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with RMF and DoD 8570 MMGT512 certified.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field with DoD cybersecurity experience.
• Minimum 12–15 years of cyber security/DoD experience depending on degree.

Responsibilities

• Support A&A for weapon systems and PIT systems per RMF.
• Develop and track security measures to protect information and networks.
• Assess threats and recommend risk-reducing actions to program managers.
• Translate requirements into technical security architectures.
• Ensure security in DevSecOps and cloud environments.
