Job summary

Applied Research Solutions (ARS) seeks a Senior ISSE to join our team at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, MA, focusing on RMF-based assessment and authorization to protect Air Force systems.

The ideal candidate is a US citizen with active Secret clearance, DoD experience, and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSLC or CCISO; you will perform ISSE/ISSM/ISSO duties and lead A&A activities.

Salary range: $178k–$195k per year, depending on role and qualifications.

Qualifications

• US citizen required.
• Active Secret clearance.
• DoD RMF experience required.
• BA/BS with 15+ years cyber-security and 5+ DoD years, or MA/MS with 12+ years and 5 DoD years.
• DoD 8570.01 MMGT512 certification; CISSP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support A&A activities per DoD RMF policies.
• Recommend security policies to ensure system reliability and access control.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of information systems.
• Lead system security evaluations, audits, and contingency planning.
• Implement programs to ensure users understand and follow security policies.
