Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) II to lead security engineering for classified information systems onsite. You will partner with Cybersecurity Operations, Digital Technology, and Engineering to enforce standards and baselines while guiding mission-focused teams.

Responsibilities include SME support for tools, developing secure solutions, and performing risk analyses to reduce waste and technical debt.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of experience.
• Experience in Cyber/Security, Network Architecture or Technology.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (NISPOM, ICD, DAAPM, JAFAN) and compliance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead security engineering efforts for classified information systems.
• Provide SME guidance on tools, standards, and secure architectures.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to drive secure, compliant solutions.
