Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Test Systems Engineer II to join the 100% onsite team. You will define and document Test Environment capabilities, collaborate with engineering disciplines, and develop subsystem models to ensure robust testing from component to All-Up-Round.

Ideal candidates hold a STEM degree with 2+ years of engineering experience, and are able to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance. The role emphasizes MBSE, traceability, and cross-functional collaboration on test strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2+ years of applicable engineering experience or a STEM Master's in lieu of experience.
• Experience in test requirements development, planning, techniques, and verification for hardware/software.
• Systems engineering approach to test activities across the product lifecycle.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and document Test Environment capabilities and requirements.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to create subsystem models using MBSE tools.
• Develop subsystem requirements, interfaces, and architectures.
• Manage requirements traceability and communicate needs to test equipment designers.
• Leverage reusable Test Environment models to improve efficiency.
• Engage with SMEs to resolve issues and support trades/analysis.
