RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) II to be a hands-on contributor on classified information systems. You will collaborate with Cybersecurity Operations, Digital Technology and Engineering to drive standards, baselines, and value streams while balancing innovation and security.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in cyber/security or network architecture, with DoD 8570 IAM III certifications or the ability to obtain one within six months.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Cyber / Systems Security or Network Architecture / Technology.
• Experience understanding and implementing compliance regulations such as NISPOM, DAAPM, JAFAN, ICD, FAA, HIPAA and related gov requirements.
• Familiarity with containerization and related technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and virtualization.

Responsabilités

• Conducts briefings and presentations for multiple levels of the business.
• Serve as SME for designated tools, ensuring alignment with Raytheon’s standard solutions.
• Develops and supports technical standards balancing program needs and mission.
• Provide strategic direction with ability to drive technological innovation.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to design secure compliant solutions.
• Evaluate new technologies incl. gap analyses and risk assessments.
• Offer expert advisement in customer discussions and approvals.
• Ensure efficiencies and cost offsets by the Architecture team.
• Oversee cybersecurity projects and risk management initiatives.
• Support enterprise and business initiatives for technological evolution.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
