Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to develop and implement integrated ISR solutions for aviation platforms and engineering systems. You will provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams to ensure real-time data dissemination, robust decision support, and enhanced operational effectiveness across domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10-15 years direct experience with engineering/integration activities supporting the Government, preferably with the Army.
• Direct demonstrated experience managing aviation and product development projects for DoD aviation including hardware and software.
• Exposure to model-based systems engineering techniques and human-systems integration principles.
• Direct experience with agile development lifecycle.
• Experience with ISR Architecture infrastructure including Space, Aerial and Ground.
• Integration of new technologies with medium Technology Readiness Levels into operational environments.
• Experience with AI/ML capabilities for sensor fusion and actionable intelligence.
• Aviation avionics system architecture development for on-platform integration and qualification.
• ISR related sensors (RF/EW, SAR, EO/IR, SIGINT).
• Understanding of DoD communications and networking.
• Place of performance: Huntsville, AL or Washington D.C. area.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
• Travel CONUS/OCONUS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chief technical authority for strategic planning, development, and management of technology enhancement solutions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions on time and within scope.
• Oversee system architecture, platform integration, data interoperability, and secure intelligence solutions.
• Coordinate with Change Review Panel (CRP) to mitigate and approve project changes.
• Support stakeholder coordination and customer-driven solutioning.
• Develop detailed technical responses and cost estimates with Program Management.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to multi-discipline engineers, technical leads, and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and performance objectives.
