Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to develop and implement integrated ISR solutions and lead cross-functional teams delivering advanced capabilities for aviation platforms and engineering systems.

The role requires deep experience with government programs, model-based systems engineering, and AI/ML applications for sensor fusion, with readiness for Top Secret/SCI clearance and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years direct experience with engineering/integration activities for Government programs, preferably Army.
• Experience managing aviation and product development projects for DoD aviation (hardware and software).
• Exposure to model-based systems engineering techniques and human-systems integration principles.
• Experience with agile development lifecycle.
• Experience with ISR architecture infrastructure including Space, Aerial and Ground.
• Experience integrating new technologies with mid-TRL into operational environments.
• Recent experience with AI/ML capabilities for sensor fusion, data compression, and actionable intelligence.
• Experience with aviation avionics system architecture development for on-platform integration and qualification.
• Experience with ISR sensors (RF/EW, SAR, EO/IR, SIGINT).
• Understanding of DoD networks and communications.
• Place of performance in Huntsville, AL or Washington, D.C. area.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
• Travel may be CONUS/OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chief technical authority and manage strategic planning, development, and delivery of data-driven, actionable tech solutions.
• Provide leadership for cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions on time and within scope.
• Oversee system architecture, platform integration, data interoperability, and secure environmental solutions.
