Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Airborne Maritime ISR Systems to lead program execution for a challenging government program. You will manage cost, schedule, technical performance, risk, and staffing while coordinating with government customers, subcontractors, and mission partners.

The role requires proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams in systems engineering, rapid prototyping, testing, and lifecycle support, with a TS clearance and on-site work at Pax River, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, program management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex government or defense programs with cost, schedule, and technical performance accountability.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams supporting systems engineering, research and development, systems integration, test and evaluation, or lifecycle support.
• Experience developing and managing program schedules, resource plans, financial baselines, risk registers, and customer deliverables.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall program execution across cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, staffing, risk, and contractual requirements.
• Serve as the primary management interface with government program leadership, contracting representatives, technical stakeholders, subcontractors, and mission partners.
• Establish and maintain resource-loaded program baselines, including schedules, budgets, deliverables, dependencies, assumptions, risks, and other direct costs.
• Direct cross-functional teams supporting mission analysis, systems engineering, digital engineering, rapid prototyping, hardware and software integration, cybersecurity, test and evaluation, logistics, and technology transition.
• Coordinate development and integration of ISR capabilities for manned and unmanned maritime aviation systems.
• Monitor performance, analyze variances, implement corrective actions, and communicate status through reviews.
• Oversee modeling, lab integration, hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop activities, and demonstrations to reduce risk and evaluate capability.
• Manage capability-transition planning, configuration control, data rights, training, airworthiness coordination, and sustainment.
• Ensure program activities comply with contract requirements, security controls, and government policies.
