Job summary

NYU Langone Health's NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking a Senior Scientific Manager for Human Research Protections. Reporting to the Director of the IRB, the SSM oversees post-approval submissions and RNI processing, coordinating with investigators and post-approval teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of human subjects regulations, excellent writing and communication, and experience in clinical research or IRB regulation.

Qualifications

• Three+ years experience in clinical research and/or IRB regulatory work.
• Superior organizational, analytical, time management, multi-tasking and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and technical writing skills; proficient in common software and databases (IRB Software, MS Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of post-approval team.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews using weekly database reports to determine workload status.
