Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for IRAD programs in Hollister, CA. You will lead multiple hardware-focused development efforts, govern scope, schedules, budgets, and milestones, and coordinate cross-functional teams to maturity TRLs.

The role requires evident experience in aerospace/defense, strong executive communication, and the ability to drive disciplined program governance and risk management. On-site work with occasional travel may apply.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program management for technical development in aerospace/defense.
• Experience leading hardware development programs in a matrix environment.
• Ability to plan schedules, control costs, and manage risks/opportunities.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Power BI or similar tools.
• BA/BS in engineering or technical field; US citizenship required.
• PMP, PMI-ACP or Lean/Six Sigma credentials preferred.
• Familiarity with DoD acquisition environments and MRLs.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead multiple IRAD programs from initiation to maturity.
• Establish and maintain integrated schedules, cost controls, risk registers.
• Coordinate matrixed teams across engineering, testing, manufacturing, and quality.
• Manage technology maturation and TRL progression; advise go/no-go decisions.
• Prepare program-health dashboards and executive updates for leadership.
• Align IRAD investments with product development priorities and markets.
• Ensure safety, quality, and export-control compliance; drive improvements.
