Job summary

DRS RADA Technologies seeks a Principal Program Manager - Engineering Development to lead IRAD program management and drive development initiatives in Germantown, MD. You will oversee scheduling, PO management, and performance across product development programs, coordinating with Engineering and senior leadership.

The role requires 10+ years in DoD program management, strong leadership, and proficiency in cost accounting and risk management.

Qualifications

10+ years relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of program management tools and procedures.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Experience across the program lifecycle, including proposals and risk management.
Earned value cost accounting and reporting experience.
Experience in finance, contracting, export regulations, engineering, logistics, or supply chain.

Responsibilities

Manage and direct daily execution of multiple programs within IRAD Roadmap.
Lead IRAD and program management operations including scheduling and PO management.
Track program cost, schedule and performance against milestones.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Lead monthly program reviews and liaise with Business Development.
Mitigate risk throughout the program lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with DoD regulations and procurement processes.
