Job summary

PacSci EMC is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for IRAD programs to mature hardware aerospace technologies and position products for future markets. You will own scope, schedule, budget, milestones, risks and deliverables for 2–3 concurrent programs with a $3–10M portfolio, reporting to senior leadership.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in aerospace/defense program management, strong executive communication, and proficiency with MS Project and Power BI; U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant program management experience in aerospace/defense environment.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent technical development programs in a matrix organization.
• Familiarity with TRL maturation, phase-gate controls, and DoD export controls.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead multiple IRAD programs with defined scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, and risks.
• Establish integrated program schedules, cost controls, risk registers, and phase-gate deliverables; apply earned value management as appropriate.
• Coordinate matrixed teams across engineering, testing, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, finance, and other disciplines.
• Prepare concise program-health dashboards and executive updates for senior leadership.
• Align IRAD investments with product-development priorities and market opportunities in collaboration with finance and technical leadership.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and export-control requirements; drive continuous improvement.
