Job summary

RTX is seeking a Mechanical Integrated Product Team Lead, Associate Director, for the Strategic Strike portfolio. You will oversee mechanical attributes of the weapon system, interface with engineers, customers and leadership, and ensure design integrity and production readiness.

This onsite role in Tucson requires leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers to deliver robust solutions. Ideal candidates have a STEM degree, 12+ years of experience, and top‑secret clearance, with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).
Experience with EVMS, IMP/IMS, or Risk and Opportunity Management.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
Active Top Secret U.S. government clearance is required before start.

Responsibilities

Develop, update and improve technical documentation for development and production efforts.
Support Design and System Verification testing/Data collection.
Support system performance analysis.
Oversee modeling of the system using CREO.
Participate in Failure Investigations.
Mentor earlier in career engineers.
Brief the mechanical development strategy for the program to customers and RTX leadership.
