Job summary

The Jackson Laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Technologist III, iPSC & Advanced Cellular Models to independently perform and optimize workflows supporting iPSC expansion, differentiation, and related quality-control activities. You will troubleshoot complex equipment, document results, and train colleagues in a fast-paced research setting.

Working with scientists, engineers, and quality partners, you will drive process improvements, maintain data integrity, and contribute to technology transfer

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in biological sciences or closely related field.
• 4 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience with iPSC culture and advanced cellular models is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor manual and automated workflows for iPSC expansion and differentiation.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory automation and instrumentation; coordinate service as needed.
• Review data, document deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain materials, reagents, cell banks, inventories, and equipment readiness.
• Train colleagues and write SOPs, work instructions, and batch records.
• Lead process improvements and participate in validation and transfer projects.
