Qualifications

  • Required Education: Master’s degree in stem cell biology, cell biology, developmental biology, bioengineering, biomedical sciences, or a closely related field.
  • Preferred Education: Doctorate in a relevant field.
  • Education Equivalency: Bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience considered in lieu of a master’s degree.
  • Experience Required: 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience Preferred: 8 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define scientific strategy, roadmaps, and development priorities for iPSC and advanced cellular-model programs.
  • Design and execute studies involving iPSC culture, reprogramming, differentiation, organoids, assembloids, and NAM models.
  • Evaluate technologies and decide on internal development, partnerships, licensing, or acquisitions.
  • Lead feasibility, optimization, verification, validation, and tech transfer studies with clear Go/No-Go criteria.
  • Translate research methods into scalable, cost-conscious, production-ready workflows.
  • Establish product/process requirements and acceptance criteria for development and transfer.
