The Jackson Laboratory seeks a Senior Scientist, iPSC & Advanced Cellular Models R&D to lead hands-on scientific programs translating cutting-edge iPSC biology into scalable cellular models. The role emphasizes production-ready workflows, technology transfer, and robust data-driven decision-making to enable customer objectives and collaborative programs.

Qualifikationen

• Deep hands-on expertise in human iPSC biology and advanced cellular models (organoids, assembloids, NAM platforms).
• Proven ability to lead complex programs from concept to technology transfer and scale-up.
• Strong experimental-design, data-interpretation, troubleshooting, and risk assessment skills.
• Experience with automation, high-throughput culture, imaging, data capture, and software partners.

Aufgaben

• Define scientific strategy and roadmaps for iPSC and advanced cellular-model programs.
• Design and execute complex studies on iPSC culture, differentiation, organoids, and NAM models.
• Evaluate technologies and decide on internal development, partnerships, or acquisition.
• Lead feasibility, validation, and translational studies with evidence-based decisions.
• Translate methods into robust, scalable workflows for production and automation.
• Lead technology-transfer packages and ensure reproducibility and control of workflows.
• Mentor scientists and coordinate cross-functional teams and external collaborators.
• Communicate risks, trade-offs, resources, and program decisions to stakeholders.
• Support stage-gate reviews, budgets, and IP considerations.
