Job summary

Sony Electronics Inc. is seeking an Expert Solutions Architect to lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle, from early business development and solution design to final proposal delivery.

You will guide customers through technology choices and design considerations for IP-based broadcast solutions, with broad knowledge across applications and transport workflows. The role requires strong communication, project leadership, and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable designs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• Minimum 5 years designing and deploying live production environments for broadcast.
• Strong understanding of SMPTE ST 2110 IP-based media environments.
• Excellent English communication; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre- and post-sales design and planning sessions.
• Demonstrate and communicate implementation best practices for Sony’s Networked Solutions portfolio.
• Gather customer requirements and translate to solution designs and BOMs.
• Present IP-based technologies to broadcasters and partners.
• Own technical solutions throughout the sales cycle and in delivery phases.
• Lead remote or onsite Proof-of-Concepts at customer premises.
• Coordinate with product management on feature requests and roadmaps.
• Support opportunities for follow-on work and SOW development.
