Job summary

Anduril Industries in Orange County, CA seeks a Senior Associate, Legal Operations (non-lawyer) to build and scale its IP portfolio operations, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.

You will partner with IP counsel, manage inventor engagement, implement IP management systems, and coordinate with Engineering, R&D, Legal, and outside counsel to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant IP operations experience or IP prosecution support
• Bachelor's degree required
• Broad IP lifecycle knowledge: patent/trademark prosecution, docketing, and foreign filing
• Experience reviewing patent/trademark documents and coordinating with counsel
• Familiarity with government patent rights obligations and iEdison protocols
• Experience leading IP management system implementations and process improvements
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information

Responsibilities

• Build and scale IP operations: patent, trademark, and copyright management workflows
• Collaborate with in-house IP counsel on portfolio strategy and asset management
• Oversee IP prosecution administration: invention disclosures, inventorship, assignments, and document execution
• Conduct trademark clearance, monitoring, and brand enforcement workflows
• Manage IP docketing, document review, and lifecycle reporting for stakeholders
• Develop SOPs, playbooks, and training on IP processes and systems
