Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Current California Bar membership preferred.
• Eligible to obtain Registered In-House Counsel status in California upon hire.
• At least 12 years of IP litigation experience in‑house and/or at a law firm.
• Experience litigating complex patent matters and other IP disputes.
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage cutting‑edge IP litigation with outside counsel and oversee budgets.
• Respond to subpoenas and information requests from third parties.
• Strategize with leadership on IP litigation risks and pre‑litigation matters.
• Assist in developing policies, playbooks, and guidelines for IP processes.
• Collaborate with teams in the UK, Europe, and Asia on international disputes.
• Mentor attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
