Job summary

Polsinelli PC is seeking an experienced IP Docket Specialist to support patent and trademark prosecution across domestic and international portfolios. The role emphasizes precise deadline management, CPi docketing, and reporting to ensure timely filings and communications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IP docketing experience in a law firm.
• CPi software experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience handling high-volume client portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of Intellectual Property, including USPTO, PCT, and international rules and procedures for patent and trademark prosecution.
• IP docketing for assigned client portfolios with accurate deadline management in docketing software.
• Navigate US and international patent and trademark databases to verify details and retrieve documents.
• Generate and edit reports from IP docketing software and assist with client portfolio reports.
• Assist with patent and trademark transfers (inbound and outbound) and related portfolio verification.
• Set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
