Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP seeks a Senior Intellectual Property Docket Specialist to manage docketing for patent, trademark, and copyright matters, ensuring deadlines are met and supporting the docketing team.

Responsibilities include monitoring shared mailboxes, reviewing filings, maintaining timekeepers, and coordinating with the Senior IP Docket Manager on special projects while staying current with USPTO, PCT, Madrid Protocol, and foreign IP rules.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or Paralegal Certificate required; 4-year degree preferred
• 10+ years IP docketing experience with PattsyWave/Foundation IP/CPi
• Advanced knowledge of US and foreign patent/trademark prosecution procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office; ability to manage large spreadsheets

Responsibilities

• Oversee entry and date calculation for docket entries
• Review USPTO and foreign filings for deadlines
• Input records into IP docketing system and maintain timekeepers
• Create and distribute advanced docket reports for patent/trademark cases
• Assist with onboarding new portfolios and quality assurance reviews
