You will work with global teams and senior stakeholders to shape freedom-to-operate strategies and protect core technologies.

The role requires a J.D. from an accredited law school, engineering degree, and 7+ years IP experience, with USPTO registration and CT bar readiness.

Qualificações

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or mechanical engineering.
• 7+ years of broad intellectual property experience, in-house or with a national law firm.
• In-house IP experience preferred in a global industrial company.
• Must be registered to practice before the USPTO and in good standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic advice and counsel on IP topics including freedom-to-operate and opinion preparation.
• Oversee patent preparation, prosecution, and related IP activities.
• Apply scientific knowledge on production and applications of industrial gas products.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders across business units and geographies.
• Supervise and manage assigned staff and outside counsel.
