Technip Energies seeks a Senior Intellectual Property Counsel to lead patent strategy and prosecution for a global engineering and technology business. You will advise on freedom-to-operate, IP risk, and strategic transactions, guiding internal stakeholders and supervising outside counsel.

The role requires extensive IP experience, including patent drafting, licensing, and collaboration with inventors, technology leaders, and commercial teams. Houston-based, on-site role with global impact.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, JD, and USPTO registration.
• 10+ years IP legal experience including patent preparation and prosecution responsibilities.
• Experience advising on IP strategy, licenses, and risk across chemical/mechanical technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Develop patent strategy, draft and prosecute patents, and manage office actions.
• Provide IP counseling on freedom-to-operate and infringement risk for business decisions.
• Advise on IP provisions in agreements and lead IP diligence in transactions.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and governance bodies to align IP with business goals.
