This role combines customer-facing project management, IoT technical account management, and deployment coordination across North America.

You will own regional installation programs from initial work-order intake through successful deployment and completion.

As the primary technical contact for assigned customers, you’ll guide device configuration, fleet health, troubleshooting, and ongoing IoT optimization.

The position requires close collaboration with customers, sales teams, installers, support, engineering, and operational partners.

You’ll use technical and fleet-performance data to identify risks, resolve issues proactively, and help customers maintain healthy connected assets.

The role also provides opportunities to influence solution positioning, support expansion opportunities, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.

This is a full-time position offering a flexible hybrid or remote setup for candidates located in North America, with no relocation assistance provided.

Accountabilities
  • Own project management and coordination for regional device and fleet installation and deployment programs, from work-order intake through completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact connecting customers, sales teams, installers, and internal technical groups to ensure deployments are properly scoped, scheduled, and delivered on time and to required standards.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for IoT-focused customer accounts, supporting hardware, telematics, and IoT configuration from onboarding through ongoing fleet-health optimization.
  • Manage technical configuration activities involving CAN and Modbus profiles, firmware management including FOTA, device operating modes, and related IoT settings.
  • Monitor device and fleet health, investigate non-reporting assets, and proactively identify and resolve technical risks before they impact customer operations.
  • Interpret fleet-health and technical performance data to advise customers and benchmark results against comparable accounts.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer technical stakeholders while maintaining strong collaboration with internal sales, account management, support, and engineering teams.
  • Partner with Key Account Directors and Customer Success Managers on technical discussions, solution positioning, customer needs, and potential upsell opportunities.
  • Coordinate escalation management for installation, technical, and customer satisfaction issues, working across deployment operations, installer and partner operations, and support or engineering teams.
  • Manage installer relationships and concurrent deployment programs while maintaining strong organization, communication, and operational follow-through.
  • Support continuous improvement of deployment and technical account management processes by identifying recurring issues, risks, and opportunities for greater efficiency.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in customer-facing project management, installation, deployment operations, or a closely related environment.
  • Experience in technical account management or technical advisory roles within IoT, telematics, connected devices, hardware, or a comparable technology environment.
  • Working knowledge of device and firmware management, including CAN, Modbus, firmware/FOTA, BLE sensors, and device operating modes.
  • Ability to guide technical configuration, validation, troubleshooting, and ongoing device performance management.
  • Strong understanding of fleet or connected-device health monitoring and the ability to interpret technical data to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate installer networks, billing activities, and multiple concurrent programs.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with customer technical stakeholders, sales teams, account managers, support teams, and engineering organizations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate technical information into practical customer guidance.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile SaaS or technology environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical and customer-impacting issues.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions, regions, and partner organizations.
  • Willingness to work from a North American location in a hybrid or remote capacity, depending on business and team requirements.
  • Ability to travel when required to support customer deployments, installations, or other business needs.
Benefits
  • Full-time opportunity within an agile, growth-oriented SaaS environment.
  • Flexible working arrangement with the possibility of working remotely from anywhere in North America or from designated office locations, depending on location and team needs.
