Job summary

Duracell is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join our IoT-focused team in Atlanta, GA. You will design and implement embedded features for sensor connectivity, ML integration, and cloud communications on low-power SoCs, while leading development on key features and mentoring juniors.

You will work across cross-functional squads to deliver scalable, secure firmware, optimize performance, and ensure reliability in battery-operated devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of firmware development experience in IoT systems.
• 3+ years of FreeRTOS, Zephyr or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded features for IoT sensor connectivity and ML integration.
• Create reusable components to reduce firmware development time.
• Develop and optimize IoT system architectures for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
• Prototype and optimize code for low power SoC platforms.
