Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior IoT Engineer to oversee digital buildings, optimize IoT systems, and enhance energy efficiency across our portfolio in Mountain View, CA. You will manage asset inventories, lead security-focused updates, and coordinate with operations to deliver continuous improvements.

The role requires strong IoT device management, networking, and building controls expertise, with a focus on scalable, secure, and efficient building operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, with 7+ years in controls systems.
• Extensive experience with HVAC, energy monitoring and lighting systems.
• Experience with IoT device management and building controls security.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital buildings program across a large portfolio transitioning to cloud-connected ops.
• Audit assets, manage licensing, and update inventory for automation components.
• Collaborate with client/ops teams to identify improvements and implement changes.
• Ensure secure communications and patching for IoT and BMS systems.
• Provide training and act as escalation point for network and application issues.
