Job summary

Grant Leading Technology is seeking a Senior IOTA Transition Planner to lead multi-phased relocations for Federal facilities, coordinating move sequencing with building design and construction schedules, and guiding Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to align stakeholders and operations.

In this lead role you will manage IMS, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), risk and change controls, and transition documentation, ensuring seamless staff and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare/Public Administration, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum of three years in transition planning and move management on multi-phased projects
• Minimum of five years as a Project Manager or lead planner on space-related or facility projects
• Direct experience with IOT&A Federal facilities—VA/VHA healthcare facilities or large federal real estate programs
• Experience with IMS, WBS, risk/change control protocols, and transition documentation
• Must be able to pass a government background check
• Must live in the United States and be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, planning, and execution for multi-phased relocations and activations for Federal facilities
• Develop move sequences, relocation master plans, and phasing strategies to minimize downtime
• Direct onsite move management, inventory control, staging, and dock logistics
• Translate requirements into transition plans, move matrices, and vendor task assignments
• Form and lead User Groups and move-related IPTs with department heads and facility operators
• Serve as liaison between contractors, move vendors, facility managers, and Federal leadership
• Lead move orientation sessions and manage staff relocation communications
• Integrate milestones into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with construction timelines
• Manage WBS, risk, change controls, and project documentation
• Conduct post-move evaluations and closeout activities
