Job summary

Raya is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to own the client side implementation of how members join, pay, and stay with Raya. You will own subscription, paywall, and lifecycle surfaces in the app, coordinating closely with the server team on entitlement correctness and reconciliation.

The role requires deep StoreKit2 expertise, production Stripe Payments experience, and a track record shipping consumer apps to large audiences.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional iOS development experience with Swift, UIKit, MVVM.
• Expert StoreKit2 experience: built and operated StoreKit2 integrations end to end in production at least twice.
• Direct native StoreKit2 integration experience beyond third-party wrappers.
• Production Stripe Payments/Subscriptions experience for a B2C product.
• Experience with entitlement correctness, App Store Server Notifications V2, and reconciliation.
• Track record shipping consumer mobile apps to large audiences with strong architecture and UX.
• Ability to lead end-to-end projects balancing speed and quality, with ownership after ship.
• AI-forward mindset for applying emerging tech to improve developer and product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the iOS subscription and payments stack end to end, from config to paywall.
• Architect StoreKit2 integration and manage lifecycle edge cases.
• Collaborate with server team on entitlement correctness and reconciliation.
• Work with product/design/data on pricing, offers, and paywall experiments.
• Contribute to a large iOS codebase with architecture, performance, and testing improvements.
• Serve as client-side escalation point for payment issues.
• Raise engineering standards through code reviews and mentoring.
• Align app and backend entitlements and state across systems.
