Job summary

Raya is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join the Places Client team. You will build member-facing experiences across the Places iOS app, owning architecture, features, and production health. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver robust, high-quality experiences at scale.

The role emphasizes ownership from concept through launch, performance optimization, and mentorship within a large iOS codebase. Strong Swift/SwiftUI experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional iOS development experience with Swift, UIKit, MVVM.
• Strong RxSwift or similar reactive frameworks experience.
• Track record shipping consumer mobile apps to large audiences with strong architecture and UX.
• Ability to lead projects end-to-end from concept to launch.
• Familiar with AI coding tools and adoption to improve engineering efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build and own core member-facing features end to end.
• Set architectural patterns, state management, and lifecycle issues.
• Collaborate with server engineering on API design and data correctness.
• Work with product/design/data science to scope, test, and launch features; focus on interaction, motion, and performance.
• Contribute to a large iOS codebase: performance, testing, tech debt management.
• Own production health: monitoring, crash triage, release quality.
• Raise engineering bar via code reviews, mentorship, and clear specs.
