Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to build and maintain a large-scale mobile app used by millions. You will run projects end-to-end, mentor juniors, and contribute to scaling our mobile infrastructure and product features.

This hybrid role reports to an Engineering Manager and requires some in-office time. You should be an expert in Swift and iOS SDK, with 5+ years of experience, and comfortable with AI coding tools as part of the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) in the full software development lifecycle.
• Expert at Swift, and iOS SDK.
• Familiarity with networking, storage, and Cocoapods.
• Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Work within our engineering teams to build exciting features.
• Improve our code base through continuous refactoring.
• Solve challenging real-time data transfer and synchronization problems.
• Extend and implement our APIs.
• Implement unit tests.
• Keep up-to-date with the industry standards of iOS development.
