DoorDash is seeking an Android Engineer to build and maintain a large-scale mobile app used by millions. This hybrid role reports to an Engineering Manager and involves delivering features, refactoring code, and tackling real-time data synchronization challenges.

Ideal candidates hold a CS degree (B.S./M.S./PhD or equivalent), have 2+ years of Android experience, and are proficient in Android testing and OOP concepts, with a track record of shipping mobile apps.

Qualifications

• Expert at developing within Android SDK in a product environment.
• Systems and OOP knowledge.
• Expertise with Android testing best practices and frameworks.
• Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Work within our engineering teams to build exciting features
• Improve our code base through continuous refactoring
• Solve challenging real-time data transfer and synchronization problems
