Job summary
Plasma-Therm, LLC is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer IV to lead installation, startup, and advanced troubleshooting for Quazar Ion Beam systems in semiconductor processing environments. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field.
- 8+ years of field service or equipment engineering in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Strong hands-on experience with ion beam systems and high-vacuum operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation, startup, and troubleshooting of Quazar Ion Beam systems.
- Coordinate with engineering during build, configuration, and testing.
- Develop and refine field service procedures and FAT checks.
- Oversee tool move-in, chamber prep, vacuum checks, and power-on.
- Provide customer updates during tool-down events and escalations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols (LOTO, HV, RF, vacuum).
- Mentor peers and contribute to SOPs and training logs.
