Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent military technical experience.
• 8+ years of direct field service or equipment engineering experience in semiconductor capital equipment or advanced wafer fabs.
• Strong technical knowledge of ion beam systems and high-vacuum tech.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for customer escalation.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced fab environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and startup of Quazar Ion Beam systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Oversee tool moves, chamber prep, vacuum checks.
• Interface with customer fab engineers and teams.
• Prepare 8D reports with engineering and management.
• Ensure safety protocols and LOTO compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and peers.
