Voya Investment Management is seeking a highly motivated Senior for the Investment Data & Analytics Team. This role reports to the SVP and requires strong analytical mindset, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

You will lead projects, support portfolios, and drive data-driven initiatives across investment data workflows, including BlackRock Aladdin. Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, maintaining portfolios, mentoring staff, and engaging stakeholders across Risk,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Problem solving and process improvement capability.
• Knowledge of investment products.
• Ability to train, lead, and mentor staff.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools for workflow, analytics, or reconciliation.
• Build key relationships across the organization.
• Represent the team in key discussions.
• Collaborate across teams to develop solutions.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
• Analytical mindset with project management and organizational skills.
• 4–6 years in a similar investment management role; Aladdin experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel, SQL, and API knowledge preferred.
• CFA progress is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects within the Investment Data & Analytics team to implement systems, mainly BlackRock Aladdin.
• Liaise with vendors and investment teams to propose and solve solutions for the investment business.
• Ensure portfolios have core attributes and are maintained in systems owned by the team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to investment data professionals.
• Apply knowledge of investment data concepts to support day-to-day functions.
• Assist with trade workflow processes.
• Become SME in OMS data flows (primarily BlackRock Aladdin).
• Assist in modifying equity trade commissions.
• Investigate data quality issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Respond to data requests from traders, PMs, sales, and client service.
• Perform root-cause analysis to resolve issues and document fixes.
