Job summary

Nomura seeks a seasoned Global Project Manager to align trading operations with enterprise functions across the investment platform. You will drive globalization, standardize processes, and lead cross-asset product initiatives with strong governance and measurable efficiency gains.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Middle Office, Operations, IT, and Trading teams, applying analytical insight to optimize workflows and deliver superior client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic liaison between trading operations and enterprise functions to drive globalization and standardization of processes.

• Drive platform transformation by establishing best practices and governance for operational efficiency and UX.
• Lead planning and implementation of new products with cross-asset impact and detailed feature requirements.
• Utilize qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify optimization opportunities.
• Own change management lifecycle for platform upgrades and connectivity implementations.
• Coordinate TSA exit activities and ensure business continuity during transitions.
• Participate in business planning and prioritization activities.

Job description

• Act as a strategic liaison between trading operations and enterprise functions, driving globalization and standardization of investment platform processes.
• Orchestrate cross-functional initiatives across Compliance, Investment Risk, Legal, Middle Office, Investment Operations, Operational Risk, and Technology to deliver seamless client outcomes and operational excellence.
• Drive investment platform transformation by establishing best practices and governance frameworks that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
• Lead the planning, development and implementation of new products with cross-asset impact. Define and analyze markets, develop detailed product features and requirements, and construct and execute implementation plans.
• Leverages qualitative and quantitative analytic techniques to identify optimization opportunities.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Aladdin platform operations, managing trading configuration changes, commission structures, CSA modifications, and system enhancements.
• Own change management lifecycle for Virtu platform including version upgrades, broker FIX connectivity implementations, and trading infrastructure evolution.
• Coordinate Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) exit activities, ensuring seamless migration of services and business continuity during platform transitions.
• Participate in and influence ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
• Coordination and participation in various trading related projected and other special projects and duties as assigned.

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

• 5-7+ years of global project management experience within capital markets operations
