Job summary

Bank of America seeks a Senior Operations Consultant in Wealth Management Performance Operations to lead investment performance measurement and reporting initiatives. You will drive design, development, and enhancement of performance processes and platforms, partnering with Financial Advisors and business teams to deliver accurate client reporting.

You will analyze complex calculations, train associates, and present executive-level updates.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of investment performance measurement methodologies (TWRR, MWRR, Modified Dietz, asset weighting, aggregation, risk statistics)
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to understand and apply complex mathematical concepts
• Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and resolve complex performance calculation discrepancies and outliers
• Ability to communicate sophisticated performance concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience collaborating across multiple functions and with senior leaders, vendors, and stakeholders
• Experience designing and delivering executive-level presentations and strategic communications
• Experience with performance reporting platforms (First Rate, Tamarac, Addepar, Confluence, etc.)
• Experience partnering with market data providers (Morningstar, Lipper, FactSet, Bloomberg)
• Strong project management and process improvement abilities
• Ability to train and mentor associates on performance concepts

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve complex investment performance discrepancies and outliers
• Drive operational improvements and translate performance methodologies into actionable solutions
• Serve as a subject-matter expert in performance measurement and reporting
• Utilize Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and executive presentations
• Develop and deliver training on performance concepts, tools, and processes
• Build partnerships with Financial Advisors and business teams to meet reporting needs
• Identify and lead process improvements for efficiency, scalability, and risk controls
• Design workflows and system designs to enhance performance operations
• Manage complex assignments with minimal supervision and stakeholder engagement
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Contribute to roadmaps for platform enhancements and technology transformations
• Provide consultative guidance on processes and controls for performance reporting
• Translate complex concepts into clear insights for leadership and advisors
• Collaborate with data providers to ensure accuracy of performance reporting
