Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to own accounting and reporting for investment entities. The role reports to the Vice President of Finance and focuses on close, reporting, cash forecasting, and process improvements.

You will collaborate with the Investment Director and senior management on internal controls, budgeting, and performance metrics across multiple entities within our investment structure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant experience in GL/operational accounting within financial services or investment accounting.
• Experience with controls and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the close process including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and intercompany eliminations.
• Prepare investment performance reporting, earnings, ROI analysis, and benchmark comparisons.
• Forecast cash needs and coordinate funding with operating entities.
• Partner with Owner and CFO on resources, processes, internal controls.
• Support KYC compliance with third-party investment managers.
