Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control or warehousing (min 5 years).
• Strong understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Excel and Office programs.
• Supervisory and time-management capabilities are required.
• Experience with lean/continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory control and finance/supply chain functions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and safeguard assets.
• Deliver inventory metrics aligned with key results.
• Plan staff schedules with warehouse operations personnel.
• Attract and develop a motivated team; manage up to 9 employees.
• Apply root cause analysis and continuous improvement methods.
• Identify and prevent inventory losses; implement preventive measures.
• Analyze and report inventory adjustments weekly.
• Manage vendor packaging issues and billbacks.
• Review customer credit requests and perform SOX controls.
• Champion warehouse safety and staff training.
• Discuss performance with Area Directors; drive engagement.
• Direct workforce to ensure efficient workflow and open communication.
• Hire inventory personnel; coach and deliver disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Replenishment, Sales, Merchandising.
