Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a capable supervisor to oversee production associates and manage material handling, inventory, and safety at our Ohio facility. You will ensure efficient operations, accurate accounting across systems, and timely coordination of cycle counts and returns.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 3–6 years in material handling, strong analytical skills, and the ability to enforce safety standards while maintaining service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Generally 3–6 years’ experience in material handling operations.
• Solid interpersonal and analytical skills are required.
• Capable of performing all essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production associates performing loading and unloading freight
• Oversee accounting for materials using multiple systems
• Oversee assembly and installation of server racks and components
• Organize and coordinate cycle counts, inventory replenishments, and material returns
• Ensure adequate safety measures protect personnel and property
• Advise subordinates on questions or problems related to work activities
• Monitor work and inspect production areas for accuracy, neatness, and policy compliance
• Recommend and implement documented procedure changes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
• Perform or assist subordinates with their duties
• Maintain service level agreements using existing systems and tools
• Ensure subordinates follow safety protocols and standards
• Frequently interact with customers, peers, site stakeholders, and subordinates
