Job summary

Picogrid, Inc. is seeking a Senior Inventory Control Specialist in California to scale and optimize materials flow across hardware development and manufacturing operations.

You will oversee receiving, stockroom organization, and ERP/MRP processes while ensuring traceability and accuracy. You will lead cycle counts, improve warehouse layouts, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to support production priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in inventory control within manufacturing or technical settings.
• Experience receiving, storing, picking, counting and moving physical inventory.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP platforms (Acumatica, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.
• Ability to perform hands-on warehouse work daily.
• Knowledge of material traceability, serialization, and lot control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, inspection, documentation, labeling, and strategic material placement across stockroom and warehouse locations.
• Maintain high transactional integrity within ERP/MRP systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain efficient stockroom layouts and materials flow procedures.
• Lead cycle counts and root-cause variance analyses; reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Establish streamlined kitting, staging, and material replenishment protocols for production lines.
• Enforce material traceability and serialization standards across receiving, storage, and assembly phases.
• Support quality, NCR processes, vendor returns, and incoming quality holds.
• Assist shipping, receiving, and other material handling activities as needed.
• Follow established procedures and suggest improvements for receiving and inventory control.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering to keep materials moving with changing production priorities.
• Author, refine, and standardize SOPs for inventory control, materials receiving, and warehouse operations.
