Job summary

Tapestry, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst in Supply Chain Accounting to lead complex inventory reconciliations and month-end close for Distribution Centers across North America, Europe, and Asia.

You will partner with DC Operations and other functions to drive accuracy and implement process improvements. The role requires 4+ years in accounting or inventory, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and strong Excel plus ERP experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience in finance, inventory, or distribution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA/MBA a plus.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills; Word/PowerPoint; data visualization helpful.
• SAP S/4HANA, WMS, or other ERP experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Own complex inventory reconciliations and analyze movements between WMS, SAP, and reporting tools across regions.
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities with journal entries, reconciliations, variances, and reports.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional partners, and communicate risks.
• Review cycle count and physical inventory results; monitor remediation and support audits.
• Execute and maintain inventory-related SOX controls; support control testing and audits.
• Develop and enhance recurring inventory reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools.
• Serve as a subject-matter resource for inventory accounting processes; mentor analysts.
• Lead system implementations, UAT, and DC transitions; document requirements and testing results.
• Identify process improvements and automation to strengthen controls and reduce manual effort.
• Manage ad hoc analyses and special projects with limited direction.
