Tapestry, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Accounting to join our team in the United States (New Jersey/New York or Jacksonville, FL).

This role partners with Distribution Center Operations and other corporate teams to drive accurate inventory accounting, timely close, and robust controls across the supply chain. The Senior Analyst will own complex reconciliations, lead month-end processes, and provide actionable insights to improve inventory governance and reporting for all

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, inventory accounting, distribution, supply chain, or a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA/MBA or certification is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel; strong Word and PowerPoint; data visualization or reporting tools a plus.
• SAP S/4HANA, WMS, or other ERP/inventory management system experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations, journal entries, financial analysis, internal controls, and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Own complex inventory reconciliations and analyze inventory movements, adjustments, and exceptions between WMS, SAP, and reporting tools for Distribution Centers across NA, Europe, and Asia.
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analyses, and management reporting.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional partners, and communicate risks and recommendations to management.
• Review cycle count and physical inventory results, validate significant variances, monitor remediation, and support audit and control requirements.
• Execute and maintain inventory-related SOX controls, support testing and audit requests, identify control gaps, and propose improvements to policies and procedures.
