Job summary

Valley Inventory Service, Inc. seeks a Senior/Mid Level Physical Inventory Supervisor to lead on-site inventories across Northern California.

You will supervise crews, coordinate counts, ensure accuracy and manage customer relations, with opportunities to grow into larger assignments. Ideal candidates have professional inventory experience, strong leadership, and the ability to train teams while maintaining high accuracy and pace.

Qualifications

• Professional physical inventory experience.
• Previous Crew Lead, Supervisor or field-leadership experience.
• Strong people and communication skills.
• Reliability and punctuality proven in field roles.
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability to organize and motivate crews.
• Confidence communicating directly with customers.
• Comfort using handheld inventory technology and computers.
• Ability to make good decisions without constant supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel throughout Northern California.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise inventory crews at customer locations and review scope and expectations.
• Conduct crew briefings and assign counting areas; set pace and monitor progress.
• Train, coach and develop Inventory Auditors and Crew Leads; perform audits and recounts.
• Identify problems early and take corrective action; communicate with customer management.
• Troubleshoot inventory equipment and operational issues; coordinate with VIS Operations.
