Valley Inventory Service is seeking seasoned professionals to lead field inventories across Northern California. As a Physical Inventory Supervisor, you will manage crews, coordinate counts with clients, ensure accuracy, and drive timely completion of inventories on site.

We value hands-on leaders who can train, troubleshoot, and communicate effectively with customer management, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Professional physical inventory experience.
• Crew Lead or supervisor experience.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability to organize and motivate crews.
• Confident in communicating with customers.
• Comfort with handheld inventory tech and computers.
• Ability to make good decisions without constant supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel throughout Northern California.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some overnights.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise inventory crews at customer locations.
• Review the scope and expectations of each inventory.
• Conduct crew briefings and assign counting areas.
• Set the pace and keep crews productive.
• Monitor accuracy and inventory progress.
• Train, coach and develop Inventory Auditors and Crew Leads.
• Perform audits, verification counts and recounts.
• Identify problems early and take corrective action.
• Communicate with customer management.
• Troubleshoot inventory equipment and operational issues.
• Coordinate with VIS Operations for additional support.
• Ensure all areas are completed before closing the inventory.
• Complete timekeeping, paperwork and required documentation.
• Account for VIS equipment and resources.
