Valley Inventory Service, Inc. seeks Senior & Mid Level Physical Inventory Supervisors for Northern California field-based leadership. Lead on-site inventories, coordinate crews, manage scope and timelines, and maintain accuracy with customer communications.

Responsibilities include supervising teams, auditing counts, training staff, and ensuring safe completion. Travel across Northern California is required, with flexible scheduling including early mornings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Professional physical inventory experience
• Experience as Crew Lead or supervisor
• Strong people and communication skills
• Reliability and punctuality
• Attention to accuracy and detail
• Ability to organize and motivate crews
• Confidence communicating with customers
• Comfort using handheld inventory tech and computers
• Decision-making with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Willingness to travel Northern California
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some overnight shifts

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise inventory crews at customer locations
• Review the scope and expectations of each inventory
• Conduct crew briefings and assign counting areas
• Set the pace and keep the crew productive
• Monitor accuracy and inventory progress
• Train, coach and develop Inventory Auditors and Crew Leads
• Perform audits, verification counts and recounts
• Identify problems early and take corrective action
• Communicate professionally with customer management
• Troubleshoot inventory equipment and operational issues
• Coordinate with VIS Operations for additional support
• Verify all areas are completed before closing the inventory
• Complete timekeeping and required job documentation
• Account for VIS equipment and resources
