Job summary

Valley Inventory Service is seeking Senior & Mid Level Physical Inventory Supervisors for Northern California. You will lead on-site inventories, supervise crews, coordinate with customers, ensure accuracy, and own inventories from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Professional physical inventory experience.
• Previous Crew Lead, Supervisor or field-leadership experience.
• Strong people and communication skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability to organize and motivate crews.
• Confident communicating directly with customers.
• Comfort using handheld inventory technology and computers.
• Ability to make good decisions without constant supervision.
• Valid driver''s license and acceptable driving record.
• Availability to travel throughout Northern California.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and occasional overnight assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise inventory crews at customer locations.
• Review the scope and expectations of each inventory.
• Conduct crew briefings and assign counting areas.
• Set the pace and keep the crew productive.
• Monitor accuracy and inventory progress.
• Train, coach and develop Inventory Auditors and Crew Leads.
• Perform audits, verification counts and recounts.
• Identify problems early and take corrective action.
• Communicate directly and professionally with customer management.
• Troubleshoot inventory equipment and operational issues.
• Coordinate with VIS Operations when additional support is needed.
• Verify that all areas are completed before closing the inventory.
• Complete timekeeping, paperwork and required job documentation.
• Account for VIS equipment and resources.
