Blue Origin Operations in Van Horn, TX is seeking an Inventory & Production Control Specialist - Sr to ensure the right parts, materials, and equipment are in the right place on time. This role is hands-on, high-impact, and supports test operations across launch site facilities.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in inventory/production control in manufacturing or aerospace, forklift certification, and proficiency with SAP/Oracle ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or production control in a manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environment.
• Active forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Proficiency with inventory management or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule in support of test operations, which may include evenings, weekends, or extended hours during test campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments; verify accuracy against purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and execute outbound shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and compliance with shipping requirements.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and in accordance with site safety standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/MRP systems.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with launch operations, production, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure material availability aligns with launch schedules.
• Support production control activities including tracking work orders, job status, and material flow across the site.
• Identify and upscale potential shortages, overages, or quality concerns in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with 5S and site safety standards.
