Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Production Control II specialist for a new advanced hardware program. You will help stand up the material flow, inventory infrastructure, and WIP tracking across multiple manufacturing value streams, coordinating with procurement, quality, and production teams to ensure on-time material availability for prototype through rate production.

Qualifications

• Experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) systems and ERP-based work order management.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and bills of material (BOMs).
• Strong inventory control fundamentals including cycle counts and WIP tracking.

Responsibilities

• Stand up production control and inventory management infrastructure for a new facility.
• Coordinate material availability to meet build requirements across prototype, development, and production hardware.
• Prepare and release work orders based on the master production schedule and inventory needs; reconcile orders on completion.
• Provide status on WIP, material availability, and constraints to production leadership and scheduling.
• Monitor material flow and expedite parts across centers and facilities; coordinate with procurement and quality.
